The Vanguard ALTA PRO 3VL 264 AV14 is a premium, CNC-machined tripod kit constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium, engineered for creators who demand a perfect balance of rock-solid stability and height. Its four-section, 26mm diameter legs provide an incredibly rigid foundation, extending up to a functional 156cm height without the need for a traditional central column. In its place, a built-in 50mm levelling base is integrated directly into the canopy, allowing for 360° rotation and ±15° of vertical adjustment to level shots instantly on uneven terrain. The legs feature silent, easy-clean twist locks to extend the tripod’s working life, whilst retractable feet transition seamlessly between rubber grips and stainless-steel spikes. For low-angle work, independent leg angles of 23°, 50°, and 80° allow the system to drop down to a mere 230mm from the ground.

At the heart of the setup is the Arca-Swiss-compatible VEO PV-14 fluid video head, designed to deliver exceptionally smooth panning and tilting. It features a 215mm adjustable handle that can be mounted on either side for left- or right-handed operators, alongside an adjustable tension control knob to precisely tailor the fluid drag to your camera’s weight. The head offers a full 360° pan and a vertical tilt range of -45° to +90°. Your gear is protected by a traditional locking clamp paired with a spring-operated safety pin, preventing accidental slippage. It comes supplied with the elongated QS-71P quick-release plate, which features an anti-twist spring pin to keep larger cameras perfectly aligned, though spotting scopes with a native Arca-compatible foot can slide directly into the clamp for maximum rigidity.

Expansion and versatility are central to this kit’s design, featuring a 3/8″ accessory thread with a 1/4″ adaptor on the canopy, complete with anti-rotation bayonet slots to keep magic arms securely locked in place.
