Description

The Vanguard VESTA GO 234 AV10 is a simple, lightweight and compact aluminium travel tripod kit that is designed for maximum portability and is great for capturing video on the go, or for birdwatching with your spotting scope.

Engineered with CNC-machined precision, the Vanguard VESTA GO 234AV10 is a versatile travel tripod kit that pairs robust 23mm aluminium legs with the remarkably compact, Arca-Swiss-compatible VEO PV-10 two-way video head. Supporting a substantial payload of up to 5kg, this combination is excellent for high-magnification spotting scopes and capturing smooth video with APS-C or full-frame mirrorless systems. Despite its sturdy 1570g build, the four-section legs fold down to just 43.5cm in length with a streamlined 12cm packed diameter, making it exceptionally comfortable to carry in the hand or slip into a gear bag on the move.

When deployed, the tripod extends to a maximum working height of 151cm, or 123cm with the centre column lowered. For shooting in windy conditions, an integrated spring hook sits at the base of the central column to hang extra weight for maximum stability. Low-angle perspectives and macro work are easily achieved thanks to three independent leg angles (20°, 50°, and 80°) and an included split central column that drops the camera down to just 22cm from the ground in seconds. Setup is swift and secure using the tactile aluminium lever locks and non-slip rubber feet.

The fluid video head features a compact 42mm base secured by anti-twist grub screws and includes a QS-56P quick-release plate with a non-twist spring pin, ideal for a rock-solid connection to scopes or cameras. For added flexibility, spotting scopes with native Arca-compatible feet can slide straight into the clamp. The kit also embraces multi-device setups; by tilting the head 90° and using a four-sided Arca plate (sold separately), it easily handles portrait shots. Finally, the tripod canopy includes dual 3/8″ accessory threads for mounting support arms.
