Front-End Web Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Front-End Web Developer with 1 or 2 years of experience who is passionate and confident about combining the art of design with the art of programming. In this role, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and visually engaging user interfaces.
You will work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. Taking an active role in both design and development, you will help define how applications look, feel, and function.
Your contribution will directly support Avantech’s mission to deliver efficient, secure, and high-quality software solutions that enhance business operations across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain new user-facing features
· Build reusable codes and libraries for future use
· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
· Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
· Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications
· Proficient understanding of web markup languages, including HTML5 and CSS3
· Basic knowledge of CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS
· Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
· Good working knowledge of AngularJS
· Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
· Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and best practices to address them
· Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring applications adhere to them
· Strong attention to detail, drive and proactive attitude.
