Full-Stack Engineer
We are looking for a seasoned Full-Stack Engineer with a minimum of three years of recent, hands-on experience across the technologies and skills listed below. The successful candidate will be involved in building and maintaining scalable web applications, from user interface to backend services and infrastructure.
Our work includes implementing pre-approved UI designs, developing and integrating APIs, and setting up and maintaining server infrastructure. This role also covers database and system architecture design, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Your will directly support Avantech’s mission to provide efficient, secure, and high-quality software that improves business operations across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and maintain the overall web application architecture
· Deliver pixel-perfect implementations of approved UI designs
· Design, deploy, and manage databases
· Ensure the full technology stack is optimised for performance and scalability
· Design and build RESTful APIs
· Integrate front-end applications with backend services
· Design and implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Skills and Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years’ professional experience with:
o HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with up-to-date knowledge of modern best practices
o .NET framework
o Database design and management, including current tools and versions
o Server management and deployment in relevant environments
· Proficiency with AngularJS
· Familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and related tools is considered an asset
· Strong understanding of user experience and, ideally, product strategy
· Experience implementing testing frameworks and unit tests
· Proficient with Git and version control workflows
· Strong appreciation for clean, well-documented code
