Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be working with the Solutions Team, taking care of various software systems and products that we develop and configure. The role will include working on new and existing installations. Training will be provided.

You will directly contribute to Avantech’s mission to provide efficient, secure and high-quality software that enhances business operations and user experience across diverse industries. —

Required Skills & Competencies

· Knowledge and proven IT software background.

· Very good knowledge of SQL Server DB, installation and maintenance.

· Knowledge of SQL queries.

· Knowledge of Windows OS Server and Desktop administration.

· Basic knowledge of JAVA scripting.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Capable of taking ownership of systems.

· The ability to work independently, without supervision, effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks and projects.

· Excellent English communication skills.

· A valid Maltese residency.
